Privacy policy
In short
AllVeganPlease does not collect personal data about its users. The extension classifies products in the user's own browser. Data is sent to us only if the user chooses to send feedback about a product's classification or a wish for a new shop.
What the extension does in your browser
- The extension only works in supported online shops (e.g. Zalando, Wolt, S-kaupat, K-Ruoka, H&M).
- It reads the details of the products shown on the page and, when needed, fetches the product page from the same shop the user is browsing. No other services are contacted.
- Classification results, the user's own corrections and settings are stored only in the user's browser (chrome.storage). Results are removed automatically after 14–30 days, and the user can clear them in the settings.
- The extension uses no cookies, ads, analytics or tracking, and it does not read the content of other websites. The settings window reads the address of the open tab only to recognise whether the page is a supported shop (see Shop wishes).
Feedback (optional)
When the user corrects a product's classification, they can send the correction to us. The settings also allow sending corrections automatically (off by default). Feedback contains:

No name, email address, user identifier, cookies or IP address are attached to feedback. To limit spam, the server calculates a keyed hash (HMAC) of the IP address and the date using a secret key. The IP address itself is not stored, the hash cannot be calculated or reversed without the key, and it is deleted from the feedback after two days. Please do not write personal data in comments.
Shop wishes (optional)
On this website and in the extension's settings window you can tell us which online shop you would like support for. A wish contains the shop's domain (e.g. example.com), your optional comment, the language version and whether it came from the website or the extension. The extension reads the address of the open tab only when you open the settings window, and it sends only the domain – and only if you press the button. No name, email address or IP address is stored. To limit spam, the server calculates a keyed hash (HMAC) of the IP address and the date using a secret key; it is deleted after two days. Wishes are used only to decide which shops to support next, and they are deleted after two years at the latest. Please do not write personal data in the comment.
Website visitor statistics
This website counts visits without cookies. When a page is opened, the browser sends the page address, the language version and the domain of the referring site (e.g. google.com). To count each visitor once per day, the server calculates a keyed hash (HMAC) of the IP address, browser identifier and date using a secret key; the IP address is not stored, and the hashes are deleted after two days. Only daily totals are kept. Nothing is sent if your browser has Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled.
Messages sent to info (at) allveganplease.com are stored in Cloudflare's database within the EU so that we can read and answer them. They are deleted after 12 months at the latest. Attachments are not stored.
Purpose and retention
Feedback is used only to improve the extension's classification. It is stored in Cloudflare's database within the European Union and deleted when no longer needed for improving the classification, at the latest after three years. Data is not sold or shared with third parties.

Your rights
As feedback contains no identifying data, we cannot link it to an individual user. If you have written personal data in a comment and want it deleted, contact us and tell us the product and when you sent it.
